Exhibition & Sponsorship


With over 3500 participants expected in Amsterdam in June 2009, the SOE Congress will be the perfect opportunity for communication and net-working among this large international audience. The exhibition area is ideally located in the heart of the RAI International Exhibition and Congress Centre, and will serve as the ‘hub’ of the Congress, featuring exhibitions and displays of essential products and services. Although much of the space has already been sold, opportunities still remain for commercial exhibitors and sponsors.

Location

Amsterdam is easily accessible not just within Europe, but also from anywhere in the world. We are planning a full programme of internationally-prominent speakers and an exciting social programme which will showcase the beautiful city of Amsterdam and its surroundings.

The RAI International Exhibition and Convention Centre, is one of Europe’s leading congress centres. The centre provides an excellent opportunity for delegates to interact with the commercial companies and to familiarise themselves with the latest advances in technology and therapeutics. The exhibition will take place in Hall 3 at the RAI The exhibition areas at the RAI are designed to draw in all congress delegates and visitors, and will include exhibits, internet area, catering as well as the electronic poster area; ensuring that exhibitors can enjoy maximum attendance on their stands.

Profile of Attendance

The Congress will have an exciting four-day programme and an extensive trade exhibition. The Congress historically draws over 4000 of the world’s leading researchers and providers of services, equipment, products and aids for people within the diverse spheres of ophthalmology and related sectors. These participants are not only from Europe but also from the USA and the Middle East.

At SOE 2007 in Austria delegates came from 94 different countries. The activities and events associated with SOE 2009 offer a unique opportunity for companies to reach this highly influential international audience through exhibition and sponsorship participation.
